Argentina Time reintroduced Daylight-Saving Time on 30 December 2007. The government of Argentina announced a plan in December 2007 to save energy which will include the reintroduction of a daylight saving time scheme. All clocks will spring forward an hour at midnight local time 30 December 2007 and will continue until 16 March 2008. This is an attempt to address a possible power shortage during the summer.
