Does ApexScribe check the quality of the medical transcripts?
Yes! Each medical transcript goes through three levels of review prior to deliver to our client. The quality control department is managed by Quality Controllers (QCs) who are Medical Transcriptionists with at least three years of experience. Our QCs strive hard to deliver a quality transcript to our clients. However, there could be an occasional unresolved blank in a report and it is usually a local term, name or place. Our QCs do their best to resolve blanks, but occasionally they are not successful. Any unresolved blank will be noted on the transcript so our client can review the specific report prior to printing or storage. These unresolved blanks normally decrease as our transcriptionists and QCs get acquainted to our client’s requirements.
