Video Technics and most broadcast server developers primarily support the H.264 AVC (Advanced Video Coding), also known as MPEG-4 Part 10 specifications. Microsoft Windows Media Player also currently supports the ISO MPEG-4 video codec. However, Apple’s QuickTime seems to support MPEG-4 much more extensively for streaming.
