Does anywhere sell such large paper shades?
Shades of this size are rare but we have found a couple of options. Ikea’s Regolit rice paper shade is the closet match: measuring 95cm diameter, it will set you back a mere £6.99 (0845 358 3364, ikea.co.uk). But also take a look at the Glowbal shade, £25, from One Village (01608 811811, onevillage.org). At 80cm diameter, it is smaller, but it’s made from cotton, so is much more robust than the paper versions. My duvet is losing its feathers The cover on my old down quilt/duvet is wearing at the seams and leaking feathers. It used to be possible to get the down filling cleaned and the duvet re-covered but I can’t find anywhere offering that service any more.
