I use vinegar to clean my house. Vinegar is wonderful on windows…it leaves them streak-free (dry with your old crumpled newspaper instead of wasting paper towels). It’s also really effective when combined with baking soda, I use this to clean my toilet bowl and counter tops. Vinegar can also be used to flush out that “old grimey coffee” smell and flavor from your often-used coffee pot. It is MUCH cheaper to buy a bottle of vinegar than a bottle of some cleanser, seeing as vinegar needs no special tv advertisements or special bottle to catch the consumer’s eye. It’s also great for the environment because anything you rinse out into a drain (i.e. rag or sponge) or flush will not harm the environment, which is always a good thing. Those other cleaners, such as Windex or toilet bowl cleaners are just terrible for the environment! Vinegar is also good to use in your laundry…it gets stubborn smells like cigarette smoke out…and it leaves your clothes smelling crisp and clean. It’s just
