Does anyone use Symbicort?
Both the Components of symbicort namely budisonide and formoterol are topical steroids and not absorbed systemically.For this reason only these are available for inhalation therapy only and not as tablets for systemic use.By inhalation therapy they act directly at the site of action with minimal systemic absorption,hence no question of side effects like as raised in your question.
