Does anyone remember the book: Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark and its sequels???
Yes I do remember. I still have all those 3 books. Some of those stories were pretty scary. The characters were creepy too. The one I remember the most is the one about the boy who finds a toe in the backyard and his mother makes a stew out of it. Also the one about the girl who keeps getting a call from a man who says “I’m the viper.” then later on he turns up at her door and says ” I vish to vash your vindows.” I also remember the one about the dog. Where the parents go to Mexico and bring back a dog for their daugher but it turns out to be a rat. Ewww! Oh yeah and the one about the girl who gets bitten in the face by a spider and she takes a bath and suddenly all these spiders crawl out of her cheek Man I remember every single story. The one I would tell this kid when I used to be his nanny was Me-Tie-Doughty-Walker…He still remembers it. Those pictures were scary. The illustrations are amazing. Creepy but amazing.
