Does anyone remember the 2007 game Earth Defense Force 2017?
By all accounts the game was pretty bad, with wooden animation, dumb A.I and crippling slowdown – but in a completely bizarre turn of events the game actually did really well in a ‘so bad you really have to play it’ type way. Well next year will see the EDF return in ‘Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon.’ The game will be developed by Vicious Cycle – and from watching the trailer the first thing we notice is that the visuals have been given a major overhaul, and no longer resemble a tarted up PSOne game. This is definitely one to watch out for.
