Does anyone remember a book called Chicken Licken who thought the sky was falling in?
Arhhh, Chicken Licken, An acorn falls on chicken lickens head and he thinks the sky is falling down – so off he goes to tell the king…. meeting on the way his feathered friends (bird brains!) who join him in his mission. Henny Penny, Ducky Lucky Drakey Lakey Goosey Loosey Cocky Locky Until he meets (my favourite) Foxy Loxy, who knows a good thing (and an easy lunch) when he sees one – and offers to lead them all to the king (aka Foxy Loxy Lair) where all the bird brains are gobbled up by Foxy Loxy and his family. A great story! The rhyming and repetition is key…..
