Does anyone recommend the Shared Ownership scheme??
We had a shared ownership house – you pay so much mortgage and a rental too – I think ours was about 150 a month for the rent on a 21,000k mortgage…. just remember that when you sell the property (Like we did) then half the profit goes to the rental company… like normally you would get all of the profit… also, they wont let you do improvements etc. without their permission… It wasnt a bad deal though… just make sure you look at all the small-print before you sign up. We put a fence up and they made us take it down… just be aware …
