Does anyone recommend moving abroad to canada without having a nest egg?

Would think long and hard about moving anywhere fullstop. It depends on where you are thinking of moving to. Toronto is relatively cheap (my cousin moved there to be with her Canadian boyfriend, married now have two kids and been very happy for 15 years). Whereas friends went to Vancover Island 2 years ago and have been totally miserable. Very expensive and have no friends or family there to help. Do lots of research about different areas and visit the area at different times of the year. The thing is, if it doesn’t work out, without the nest egg it becomes very difficult to come back. Good luck.
