Does anyone recommend a cat breed that is affectionate and loyal?
If you want a purebred I would recommend researching the various breeds to find the one most like what you want. Otherwise I would recommend rescuing an adult cat from a rescue. The good resces know the cats they have and can help you find one that fits your needs. Adopting kittens the personality can change quit a bit (an affectionat kitten can become and aloof adult) but with adult cats the general personality is pretty much set so and affectionate cat in a foster home is going to be an affectionate cat in your home. On a side note. If you are in the US most breeders or rescues are not going to let you keep the cat as indoor/outdoor most have in their contracts the cat must be keep indoor only.
