Does anyone really know why gas prices are going up.?
Gas prices along with other commodities like gold are going up. As the dollar decreases in value, other countries are hedging their bets on other resources. Since the dollar is lower, this also makes the price of gas at our stations more expensive. And this leads to an overall increased expenses for all consumers. Since consumers are feeling the pinch of the increase in their expenses – mainly groceries and gas – they are not spending on miscellanous items which puts the companies that make those in peril.
