I have the first version of the Intel MacBook Pro and I really like it. The current versions are faster and have more storage. It depends of course on what you want to do with it. I have the 17-inch screen, because I need the real estate of the larger screen. I think the MacBook Pro is a great laptop, but again it depends on what you intend to do with it. If you decide that’s going to be your primary machine, it can be a very good option; the newest ones have the new extra monitor connector (and you can really splurge and get one of the new LED monitors) and the LED screens, which are more efficient and more eco-friendy than the earlier LCD versions.
