Hello Ivan, Lawrence and Lorsch, both of the Harvard Business School, have analysed the relationship of the company with its environment. They talk about differentiation and integration, so the higher the social uncertainty, the higher the differentiation and the more integration mechanisms (teambuildings, public socialisation areas, charity programs towrds the unfavoured etc) you will need.
