Does anyone like a good, strong rutabaga?”
I happen to like the waxed ones, for whatever reason they always seem to taste better. I agree a good, stong one with a bit of butter and I’m enjoying myself. I’ve also learned not to cut them up myself. I’ve done it and have threatened to take an axe to it. Now my dear husband uses his muscles. He likes a good rutabaga as well. I also remember many, many years ago when I was learning to read, we had a story with the word “rutabaga” in it. The teacher lost patience after the fourth or fifth kid couldn’t pronounce it properly, LOL.
