Does anyone know why they never came out with a complete Star Wars box Set (episodes 1-6)?”
As you probably know, the DVDs for the various Star Wars movies came out very, very late, well after all other similar movies, so that fans were screaming for them. The release of the box set for the first series (4-6) finally came out while the second series was being released, and when boxed sets appeared for the two, they never did an entire set. I am sure, when the fan base asks enough, and Lucas thinks he can get a bit more money out of the Franchise, that he will release the set, perhaps in HD, Blueray and standard all at once.
