Does anyone know why people from india, pakistan and bangladesh immigrate to britain after 1947?
During that terrible period of ’47 it was mainly due to search for a better life. If u didn’tt know this- during Partition their lands, farms n stuff were taken away n forced to move-sorta like being bankrupt… had to start all over u know. In this state of turmoil they went abroad to countries like UK for eg. in search for a better life or rather get a life at all. — n i agree wid the above answer, there’s Reverse Brain Drain in the recent years due to the economic crisis in the “developed” countries.
