Does anyone know why my new laser mouse scroll wheel does not work on vista?
good point emma,my wife has acer p.c with vista premium and the mouse has froze 3 times up to now,so it dosent suprise me to hear you are having these problems with your mouse solution:if you are using your mouse via a ps2 socket,then change to a usb mouse connection if possible,and also go into the p.c,s bios and go to “intergrated peripherals”>”onboard pci device set up”>usb mouse support>change from disable to enable ,then press esc to return to the main set up page and then press”save and exit set up” to save changes to the cmos another option is to remove the mouse,then shut down the p.c,insert the mouse again and boot up the p.c.. hope this helps any problems let me know good luck emma !
