Does anyone know where i can get unfrozen snake food?
ALL reptile stockists will be able to provide you with a healthy supply of live rats and/or mice of various sizes/ages. It is vital that you feed the appropiate sized mouse or rat to suit the requirements and size of your reptile. Dusting the live rodent with reptile vitamin suppliments is also a must. “Zoomed” are a good source for these. Above all, NEVER leave a live rodent with your reptile for long periods. If the reptile does not readilly take the food, then it is not hungry and the rodent should be removed. many many snakes have died from mouth rot due to live mice or rats biting or nibbling the snakes sensitive mouths. A snake will seldom defend itself from this. Only attacking its “meal” when it is hungry and if a snake is not hungry then it will not eat. Just as do most livefood eating animals. I am very pleased that you are not going down the frozen food route!
