Does anyone know when basset hounds eyes start to droop?
Usually Basset Hounds eyes droop from puppyhood. And their ears don’t grow longer as they get older. Their ears are actually the longest when they are puppies and usually grow into them as they get older. You might not have the classic/purebred Basset Hound, but perhaps the Beagle/Basset look. But from the time that they are born, they should typically already have the droopy eyes/long ears look. They don’t develop them as they get older.
