Does anyone know when artemis fowl the movie came out?
In an e-mail from Eoin Colfer to AFC: Wed, December 27, 2006 12:10pm Regarding various developments – the movie is going ahead quickly now – I worked on a treatment for the story with Oscar winning director Jim Sheridan and writer Simon Carmody and Jim is now working on the screenplay. The story is mainly the first book but with a few huge surprises. If Hollywood tells you to do whatever you want… well I couldn’t turn that offer down, so expect new adventures. This was three years ago. Two years ago they were hoping to start production. As much as it pains me to admit, I don’t think that this movie is happening anytime soon. Airman is likely to be made first.
