i went there couple years ago and i know that biltong meat is very popular in south africa also they do eat crocodile, fried caterpillars and also sheep heads and they have a dish called babotie which is kinda like Shepard’s pie.

Same as anywhere else really, jellies and ice cream when little, lots of sweet food etc but as they get older then slightly more savoury.
