Does anyone know what this Edgar Allen Poe poem is about. Im losy some pointers wood help?
Poe is describing a time in his life, a place, and an emotional state. There is descriptive language that gives you the ability to “Be” as he is in the poem. That is what good poetry accomplishes. Try to become that person at that place and doing so you will also learn about being a “readerly” writer. you are going to have to think a bit but it will come to you eventually.
