Does anyone know what the Compaq C740 laptop is like?
Ever since HP (Hewlett Packard) bought Compaq, they’re products (collectively) have gone downhill. We recently bought an HP Compaq 6720s & the quality of the machine was abysmal to say the least: Spongy feeling ‘left-click’, No Lid-fastening mechanism, dodgy screen hinge (made the screen flicker when adjusting screen height)….And a host of other problems you would not expect from a brand new machine (and this manufacturer). I would recommend buying anything but HP Compaq until their ‘internal issues’ have been resolved & they start building reliable machines again.
