Does anyone know what size knitting needles you usually use to knit double knitting wool with?

If you mean 8ply or DK I normally use 4mm knitting needles for the pattern and about 22 stitches per 10 cm. For the ribbing I normally use 3.25 mm needles. The best idea is to knit a tension square to check your tension with the 4mm needles, if there are too many stitches use a size larger needles, too few a size smaller.
