I’ve read several versions of the bible cover to cover, and there’s nothing in the bible that talks about this. If it is your personal belief that the entire bible is the word of god, I can’t see how you could go wrong, as long as your intentions are good and you’re not using it to pick lotto numbers or something to that extent. Also, realize that many stories in the bible are examples of people doing bad things: (i.e. Lot’s daughters getting him drunk and seducing him, etc) so make sure you understand the verse in context before you apply it to your life.
