Does anyone know what KKK stood for with regards to women in Nazi Germany?
Kinder, Kirche, Kürche, except that the Kürche was not used by the Nazis. That’s an old German saying meaning Kids, Kitchen, Church and describing the ‘rightful’ place of a woman. Hitler, who was really old fashioned as well as a demented murderer, used it to describe his views about the one and only role of an Aryan woman while the men went out to conquer the world. That declaration was followed by sending the women home, bribing them or making rules that made it impossible for them to go on working and plenty of propaganda about Kinder and Kirche. Nowadays, to come up with an equivalent you would say pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen.
