Does anyone know what I should do to fix or get around the following Windows error?
I’m assuming the webcam is new and that it has the latest drivers. This is a script error of some kind; searching through the Logitech forums I found a “possible” solution both for XP and Vista Symptom During the upgrade installation to QuickCam 11.5, the installer will halt and display error code 2738, 1720 or 1722. Solution Windows XP user: 1. Please visit the Microsoft website and download Windows Script 5.6. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai… 2. After installing Windows Script 5.6, please reinstall QuickCam11.5. Windows Vista Users: 1. Click on “Start”. 2. Click on “All Programs”. 3. Click on “Accessories”. 4. Right click on the Command Prompt, select “run as administrator”. 5. At the prompt, type “regsvr32 vbscript.dll”. 6. You will now get a message box saying “vbscript.dll” has been registered. 7.
