Does anyone know what a traditional housewarming gift woud be in spain?
Hi, Most of my extended family are spanish, and the traditional gift would be food,especially something that youve made yourself,but I can see that would be impractical for you with you not living there. This gift of food would also be offered for many other reasons such as illness,breavement,birth of a baby etc. if you are able to phone, then there are many delicatessans who will deliver a beautiful cake to your sister if you cant get there, or you could pick it up before you go. otherwise you could buy something for the kitchen or cooking.
