Does anyone know wha Abigail Adams contribute to the Revolutionary War?
Abigail Adams was the well-educated, highly intelligent wife of John Adams. She wrote him constantly during the Revolutionary War, advising him, keeping up his spirits and taking care of his home and family so he could do what he needed to do. She was also the First Lady in the new White House when her husband became the 2nd President of the US, and set the congenial, hospitable atmosphere which became the precedent and goal for future First Ladies. Please don’t feel you “got stuck” with Abigail Adams. She was a fascinating woman who lived in a complex era of our nation’s history.
