Does anyone know the proper name for moss roses?
Portulaca grandiflora…..is known as “Moss Rose” in our area. It thrives in heat and humidity to bloom from late spring till fall. As the days become longer, Portulaca flowers open only during the mornings and for a short time in the afternoon. They usually come in mixed colors, but favorite selections may be quickly rooted from stem cuttings.
