Africa is a continent with many countries. Botswana and South Africa are two of those countries in the southernmost part of the continent.

The holiday, Thanksgiving, is an American holiday. While American expatriates living in Botswana celebrate the holiday, the local Batswana people do not celebrate Thanksgiving.

Botswana is not in South Africa. South Africa is a country. And Southern Africa is the area which includes Botswana. We don’t celebrate Thanksgving.
