Does anyone know the gas mileage of a Coachman Freelander 2130QB RV?
As an RV-er, and a rental dealer of RV’s…and I rent the 2130 you are asking about, here’s some thoughts. What the vehicle can do, and what you can achieve can be two completely different things. The factors that affect an RV, any model, not just the 2130QB are: 1. How fast you drive. I always drive a little slower than my wife, and thus always get a little better mileage than her. 2. Terrain. If you drive a lot in hilly or mountain conditions, then you won’t get the same mileage as someone that drives a lot in flat lands. 3. Wind Conditions. Maybe just a little…if you’re driving into a heavy wind vs. having it behind you pushing…but this is a very minor factor. 4. Weather and/or how you camp. What comes into consideration here is generator use. Remember, the generator works off the same gasoline tank as the engine, and an average 4K generator (like the 2130 has) can use up to one gallon of gas per hour of operation…this is pretty normal for any make/model of RV.
