Does anyone know the difference between one red light to four on your xbox 360?
the one red light usually only happens once, it brings up the customer support screen that gives you the primary error code. when you power off the xbox after that, then the second set of red lights appear, 2 red lights= overheating, let your 360 cool down for 8 hours and clean the ventilation slots on the 360. 3 red light=hardware failure, (multiple reasons)this is covered by the 3 year warranty 4 red lights= something wrong with your AV cable, only covered by 1 year warranty, which is sort of funny because the problem is with the cable and they don’t want you to send any cables back hahaha, sometimes you can try some things to fix the 4 red lights yourself THINGS TO TRY Make sure that the AV cable is correctly connected to the Xbox 360 console. Disconnect the AV cable from the Xbox 360 console, and then reconnect the AV cable to the Xbox 360 console.
