Does anyone know the difference between german and low german?
Not specifics, but you have High German and low German. Low German is considered “common” German or how you would talk with your friends. Typically, Low German is used with colloquialisms. High German is “official” German. An example of this would be how businesspersons speak with each other. High German is generally free of regional verbiage and dialect.
