Maddog is wrong. That is max pressure as you have already figured out. Go to the tire manufacturer’s website. They usually list all their tires and the pressure needed for the diferent bikes they fit.

The tire manufacturer isn’t going to tell you anything. The easiest thing to do is to contact your local HD dealer. They will be able to tell you in no time. It’s nice to see that some people know not to use the sidewall pressure. That could be dangerous. Every time someone fills my tires with air, I have to check them to make sure they are right.
