Does anyone know the BEST inline skate to go on grass and bumpy roads?
please explain if you mean downhill on grass or open fields. What quality of land? In general, there is NO BEST of anything. There are always variations, including personal preferences, that make one item better for one person and not another. If I told you that there was a pair that made it effortless and perfectly smooth feeling but cost $10,000, would that be best? What if they cost $50 but only came in super narrow sizes? Larger wheels will roll smoother over bumps. Longer frames with more wheels also smooth things out, but the older 5 wheel frames (been generally replaced with 4x90mm and 4x100mm frames) are harder to find. That will be better for bumpy roads and for going on grass. However, for anything other than downhill or very short sections to glide over, skating on grass is difficult and tiring. Downhill is really fun. You want the skates to fit snug but be very comfortable for bad surfaces. I have a pair of the (haven’t been made in over 5 years) Rollerblade Coyote skates.
