Does anyone know the average length of usage on bathroom shower grout before it shows cracking?
If a shower is properly grouted it shouldn’t crack at all.1 of the big problems that i have run into when it comes to grout cracking is.When you grout a shower you need to caulk the 2 back corners from top the bottom.Around the bottom where the wall tile meets the shower floor tile.Alot of ppl don’t do that when they grout and that’s what i see most of the time when i get called out to a repair.1 thing i do and it will save the homeowner in the long run is to caulk around the drain frame and when i install the drain frame cover.I’ll caulk the inside edge of the frame.I’m known for overdoing things on jobs.Piece of mind is better than a worried mind.
