Does anyone know songs to play on a ukulele that are easy for beginers?
If you are wanting to learn some easy songs for ukulele, try a song with only 3 or 4 chords. I don’t know your age so i don’t know what songs you would know. The easy answer would be some old 12 bar songs like rock and roll or 1960s pop songs. Whatever you do, try and play them in the key of C where the chords will be C, F and C with perhaps an Aminor. All of these chords are easy on a ukulele of the Soprano, concert or tenor ukulele. If you tro www.chordie.com they have a huge selection of songs from all ages with the chords. The site also has the option of transposing the song into the key you want and will allow you to select the instrument that you want to use. So, whatever the song you can change the key to C and ask for the chords to be written down for a ukulele tuned to A, E, and G, a standard ukulele tuning. Good luck.
