Does anyone know some good drills to get my volleyball team to move their feet?
For passing: 1. Have a passer stand opposite a server and try to make the ball bounce between their legs. It’ll be fun and they’ll need to be in a good position for it to work. You can make it a contest — put them in pairs and the first pair to get the ball to bounce through each person’s leg five times wins. 2. After doing the ball-bounce game a couple of times, have the partners line up on opposite sides of the net again. This time, the server serves the ball, then sprints under the net, and tries to catch the pass coming from her partner. Have the passers think about an “upper triangle,” and “lower triangle.” The upper triangle is formed by their arms and chest. The lower triangle is formed by their legs and the floor. The passers should focus passing the ball on a line that would pass through both the upper and lower triangles. This will help the players get to a good spot passing, and it will make the servers think about serving then sprinting off the line to get to their spot on
