Does anyone know of very rich people who give money away?
I know several wealthy people who give money away – to organizations who help people. Look into getting temporary help getting on your feet from local churches, including the Salvation Army, the United Way, and other private charities in your area. Then, look into the websites I list for one that seems to fit you, and get yourself a good financial plan that will allow you to live on what you have coming in. Sounds to me like you need to make some changes in your lifestyle until you can get more coming in. I went without cable TV (meaning I got PBS, CBS, and NBC. that’s it.) for 5 years, had dial-up internet for longer, rented an apartment, and still drive a POS 10 year old car that I paid cash for. Getting out from under debt is crucial. After that, you can start thinking about adding some luxuries back into your life. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
