Does anyone know of companies that will donate money to school fundraisers?
I don’t know, and I don’t even live in the area! I have had fundraisers before though, so my advice is to go door-knocking at loads of businesses in your area. Start with the shops, and ask (politely) them for donations of money or raffle prizes. You can make quite a lot of money on raffles, especially if you get at least one good prize. Having lots of conselation prizes is good too. I have heard of travel agents and supermarkets donating gift vouchers, so they would be worth a try, but smaller stores often donate nice things too. Another good raffle prize is to get the good art students/teachers to donate an artwork. When you have a good pile of prizes, make a list of the prizes and start selling tickets. Often parents can sell them at work, kids can take them to their neighbors and many people in the community will be interested. Then you can go doorknocking the big businesses in the area.
