Read Derren Brown’s book “Tricks of the Mind”. He will show you how psychic mediums work, the showmanship involved, and that they can’t actually contact the dead. I think it’s actually rather cruel, playing on someone’s desires to hear from someone they have lost and making money out of it.

I know of some in blcakpool (also in lancashire) who do sittngs private on the sea front, towards the north part and that have high reccomendations.
