Does anyone know of an apartment or similar there that does monthly rentals?

I don’t know much about the Kingwood area but I do know that it is unlikely you will find a place that does monthly rental. You may try to put a post on Craigslist and get a response. Maybe you can find someone who will let you rent the place while they are trying to get a regular tenant. You may also find a week to week travel lodge or something like that. I know we have some hotels (motels) that offer weekly rates.
