Does anyone know of a good source for instructions for setting up a skywatcher EQ3-2 equitorial?
Try the website of Orion telescopes: www.telescope.com Their mounts are identical to the ones sold by skywatcher, as a matter of fact they are built in the same factory in china. Once on the Orion site, enter “Manuals” in the “search” field at the top of the page. It will give you a list of all their manuals. Go to the “Mounts” section. I believe the skywatcher EQ3-2 is the same as the Orion “Astroview” mount. If not just look at the photos until you find the one that matches the looks of your mount. Their manuals are excellent and will have complete assembly and operating instructions in it. If everything else fails, you can send me a message and I can walk you hrough it all the way, because I have two of these mounts myself.
