Does anyone know of a good literary agent in la?
Good literary agents don’t hang out in that area, as most would starve. The majority are in NYC. They take only EXPERIENCED writers. And most don’t handle the Children’s market at all, as the books do not generate enough money for them to make a commission. The Children’s market publishers DO NOT read unsolicited work either. Agents anywhere are VERY selecive about whom they take on as clients and NEVER take minors. And you can do an agent search on line just as easy as anyone, but again, I stress they DO NOT work with minors and they take on VERY FEW new clients, and sometimes no new clients for years.
