Does anyone know of a free anti virus software to download which is safe?
If you read this area in Y!A you will see many people fighting one virus or another and they all seem to use weak antivirus programs that let the viruses into their computers. Here is one of many reviews of AV software. None of the free ones make the list for good reasons. Its a nasty world out there and you have to pay to be safe. www.pcantivirusreviews.com Once you get one of these (and I recommend Norton) then the free Adaware from www.lavasoft.com, the free anti spy that comes with the Yahoo toolbar and Ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com can clean up the small stuff.
