Does anyone know of a foundation that isnt reflective so your face doesnt look white in photos?
This “reflective” quality comes from certain SPF ingredients in your makeup or in your moisturizer. Generally, the higher the spf, the whiter your face becomes in photographs. And no, that’s not why your face looks lighter in flash pictures. I have worn concealers designed to brighten your undereye area and taken pictures with the flash on, and my eyes weren’t sparkly or lighter than any other part of my face. So to answer the question: Any foundation with a low or with no SPF will help in reducing this problem. Check your products, and see if they include SPF, chances are they do. When you know you will be taking pictures, opt to not use whatever product it is that has SPF in it, and use something else for that time that lacks SPF (or look for a good sunscreen for the face that is said to not give that ghostly effect) Oh, and it can also be the lighting around you. In most cases, lighting will play a huge part in how you show up in pictures. If it’s that big of a deal, use an online i
