Does anyone know of a detox program to speed up the reomoval of depo provera from our bodies?
I have been on depo for 2yrs for contreception as well as management for my endometriosis. I now want to start a family & have just found out that depo can stay in our bodies for 18mths or more. Has anyone heard of any natural/alternative or even conventional treatments that detox our bodies of the depo hormones or neutralise the effects of the depo injections? A: Because DMPA persists in the body for several months in women who have used it on a long-term basis, it can delay the return to fertility. Approximately 70% of former users desiring pregnancy conceive within 12 months, and 90% of former users conceive within 24 months.
